Microcontroller is a microchip designed for controlling electronic devices, capable of performing simple tasks. These are miniature computers, all components of which (processor, RAM, ROM) are located on the same chip. They are distinguished from microprocessors by the availability of timers, controllers, comparators and other peripheral devices. Currently, microcontrollers are used in the production of: sensors for cars; toys; voltage indicators, chargers; control panels; miniature electronic devices. Management is carried out with the help of special programs.
